Install Lux IPTV on MAG & Enigma2 Boxes
Complete setup guide for Lux IPTV on MAG box and Enigma2 receivers (Dreambox, VU+, Octagon, Zgemma). Portal URL & bouquet upload methods.

Have everything below ready — the whole setup takes 8 min.
MAG or Enigma2 box
MAG 254, 322, 420, 520; or Enigma2 receiver — Dreambox, VU+, Octagon, Zgemma, GigaBlue. Original firmware preferred.
Lux IPTV credentials
For MAG: Portal URL (Stalker). For Enigma2: M3U URL + your box SSH access.
Wired internet recommended
Set-top boxes prefer Ethernet over Wi-Fi for consistent IPTV streams.
How to Install Lux IPTV on MAG box & Enigma2 receivers

Send us your MAC address (MAG users only)
On your MAG box: Settings → System Settings → About. Note your MAC address (00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).
Send this MAC to our support via WhatsApp or Telegram along with your order ID. We bind your subscription to this MAC and send you the Portal URL.
Configure the Portal URL on MAG
MAG remote: Settings → Server → Portals.
- Portal 1 Name: Lux IPTV
- Portal 1 URL: the URL we sent (e.g. http://srv.iptvlux.sale:8080/c)
Save settings, then Reload Portal from main menu.
Enigma2 — connect via SSH
Enable SSH: Menu → Setup → System → Network → Network Services → SSH On.
Open Terminal (Mac/Linux) or PuTTY (Windows). Connect:
ssh root@<your-box-IP>
Default password is usually root or empty.
Enigma2 — upload your bouquet
Once connected, go to userbouquets folder:
cd /etc/enigma2
Download the bouquet (we send a .tar.gz to your email):
wget http://srv.iptvlux.sale/bouquet/<id>.tar.gz
Extract:
tar -xzvf <id>.tar.gz
Restart Enigma2: init 4 && sleep 5 && init 3
Restart and load channels
MAG: main menu → Reload Portal. Channels and EPG appear within 30 seconds.
Enigma2: after GUI restart, press the bouquet button (Blue or LIST) on your remote. "Lux IPTV" appears as a new bouquet with all categories.
Common MAG / Enigma2 Issues
Most issues are fixed in seconds with the tips below.
MAG shows "Portal not detected"
Verify the Portal URL is exactly what we sent (no missing slashes or wrong port). Restart the box. Check internet (Settings → Network → Test).
Enigma2 shows empty bouquet
The tar.gz did not extract to the right path. Run it inside /etc/enigma2/. Restart the GUI with init 4 && init 3.
Channels load but freeze every few seconds
Set-top boxes often have weak Wi-Fi. Switch to Ethernet. On MAG, disable "stream buffer" in Settings → Streaming.
I lost my MAG portal URL
