How to Install Lux IPTV on Firestick in 5 Minutes
Step-by-step guide to install Lux IPTV on Firestick, Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Cube. Works on every Firestick model from 2nd gen onwards.
What You'll Need

Amazon Firestick
Any Firestick 2nd gen, 4K, 4K Max or Fire TV Cube with up-to-date firmware.
Lux IPTV credentials
M3U URL or Xtream login from your activation email (sent within 5 min of purchase).
Internet 10+ Mbps
25+ Mbps recommended for stable 4K. Wi-Fi 5 GHz or Ethernet preferred.
How to Install Lux IPTV on Firestick & Fire TV

Enable apps from unknown sources
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. If Developer Options is hidden, return to About, highlight the Fire TV name, then click it 7 times until "Developer Options enabled" appears.
Inside Developer Options, turn ON "Install unknown apps" for the Downloader app you'll install in step 2.
Install the Downloader app
From your Firestick home screen, click the search icon (top-left) and type Downloader. Install the orange app by AFTV News. This free utility lets you sideload IPTV apps.
Open Downloader once installed and allow it to access your device storage when prompted.
Download IPTV Smarters Pro
In Downloader, type the official URL: smarters.com/download/iptv-smarters-pro.
Wait for the APK to download (~15 MB), then click Install. Accept the permissions.
Open IPTV Smarters Pro & log in
Launch the app from Your Apps & Channels. On the welcome screen choose Login with Xtream Codes API (recommended) or Add M3U URL.
Enter the exact credentials from your Lux IPTV activation email:
- Name: Lux IPTV
- Username: from email
- Password: from email
- URL: from email (e.g. http://srv.iptvlux.sale:80)
Start streaming in 4K
After login, Smarters loads your channel list, EPG and VOD library — usually within 30 seconds. Pick any channel to start streaming.
For best quality, go to Settings → Player Settings and set the preferred player to VLC or Smarters Player. Enable hardware acceleration on Firestick 4K Max.
Common Firestick Issues
Most issues are fixed in seconds with the tips below.
Channels keep buffering
Check your Wi-Fi speed (need 25+ Mbps for 4K). Switch from 2.4 to 5 GHz, or use the Firestick Ethernet adapter. In Smarters, set Stream Format to HLS.
Login error / invalid credentials
Copy-paste the URL exactly as in your email — including the port (e.g. :80 or :8080). Avoid trailing spaces. Username/password are case-sensitive.
App crashes on launch
Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → IPTV Smarters → Clear cache & data, then re-login.
EPG not loading
In Smarters Settings → EPG → Reload EPG. First load can take 1–2 minutes. Make sure your Firestick date/time is correct.
